Professional Membership

To satisfy the academic requirements for Professional Membership, a student must hold a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Information Systems or a Bachelor of eCommerce, with passes in:

• INFS1001 - Foundations of Electronic Commerce and Information Systems (6 units)
• COMP1100 - Introduction to Programming and Algorithms (6 units), Offered by Department of Computer Science
• COMP2400 - Relational Databases (6 units), Offered by Department of Computer Science
• INFS2004 - Electronic Business (6 units)
• INFS2024 - Information Systems Analysis (6 units)
• INFS3059 - Project Management and Information Systems (6 units)
• INFS3024 - Information Systems Management (6 units)

Plus one of:

• COMP2410 - Networked Information Systems
• COMP3410 - Information Technology in E-Commerce
• COMP3420 - Database Systems
• INFS3002 - Electronic Commerce Strategic Issues
• INFS2005 - Accounting Information Systems

Both of the above courses are offered by the Department of Computer Science
